Workshop Preferences

Every effort will be made to register you in the workshop of your choosing, but first choices cannot always be guaranteed. A detailed agenda, information about your workshop and group activities will be sent to you after you have registered.

Conference Information:

Hotel Accommodations:
Participants needing hotel accommodations can access a discounted block rate at Canad Inns Polo Park (1405 St. Matthews Ave.) in Winnipeg. Please quote Manitoba Federation of Labour group code of #511867
Affiliates/participants are responsible for making their own hotel room bookings.

Snacks:
Morning refreshments, afternoon snacks and beverages throughout the day (coffee, water, juice, and pop) are included in registration.

Lunches:
Participants are responsible for their own lunches. Altos restaurant buffet vouchers will be sold each morning of the conference by Canad Inns staff for conference participants.

Thursday Night Event:
On Thursday February 1st, the MFL will be hosting a post-workshop meet and greet for all participants in the adjoining Tavern United. Appetizers will be provided.

Child Care:
You may be eligible for reimbursement of child care expenses that are not reimbursed through other sources while attending the conference as follows: $25.00/day for your first child; $15.00/day for each additional child. Receipts are required for reimbursement.

Payment:
Payment can be made by credit card online.
Please note: Both the registration form and payment must be received to be registered.

Manitoba law requires employers to allow paid educational leave of two days per year for members of Workplace Safety and Health Committees or their designates.
To attend the MFL Health and Safety Conference, you must be a member of a local union affiliated to the Manitoba Federation of Labour.
