All courses are two days long; participants will be slotted in one course for the full duration of the conference. Conference Information Hotel Accommodations and Food:Affiliates/participants are responsible for making their own hotel room bookings. Hotel accommodations are available at the conference venue, Canad Inns Polo Park, 1405 St. Matthews Avenue, Winnipeg, at a discounted rate. The Group ID for the discount rate is 1208728. Participants are responsible for their own lunches. One option is the lunch buffet at the on-site Aaltos restaurant, for which hotel staff will be selling vouchers each morning of the conference. Social Event:On Thursday, February 4, the MFL will be hosting a post-workshop meet-and-greet for all participants in the adjoining Tavern United. Appetizers will be provided and there will be a draw for a great door prize. Child Care:You may be eligible for reimbursement of child care expenses that are not reimbursed through other sources while attending the conference, at a rate of up to $25.00/day for your first child; up to $15.00/day for each additional child. Receipts are required for reimbursement. Workers have a right to Health and Safety Education! Manitoba law requires employers to allow two paid days of educational leave per year for members of a Health and Safety Committee or their designates.
