The Manitoba Federation of Labour is hosting a one hour, Brown-Bag lunch panel discussion about the 2013 Federal Budget.
‘Federal Budget 2013 – What’s in it for you?’ is part of a tour undertaken by NDP MP Peggy Nash to promote the NDP Alternative Federal Budget (AFB). The NDP AFB has five key priorties: a hiring tax credit for youth, veteran’s healthcare, infrastructure (roads, bridges, over/underpasses), commute times, and pensions/OAS. Coffee and soft drinks will be available.
Invited to sit on the panel are CUPE National President Paul Moist, PSAC Regional Director Marianne Hladun and NDP MP Peggy Nash.
