The Canadian Union of Postal Workers is marking Domestic Violence Awareness Month by collecting personal care / hygiene items to be donated to Willow Place women’s crisis centre.

Willow Place provides 24 hour crisis care for victims of domestic violence as well as counselling and care for women and their children in crisis.

Donations can be dropped off at: CUPW local office 207-83 Sherbrook Avenue, or at the Winnipeg Labour Council office at the Union Centre, 504-275 Broadway Avenue.

One in four women will experience domestic violence their lifetimes.
