The Province of Manitoba is now receiving input on how to improve the Workplace Safety and Health Act.

Led by the Minister’s Advisory Council on Workplace Safety and Health, this consultation and review is required every 5 years by the Workplace Safety and Health Act..

The Province has indicated particular interest in receiving input on compliance tools, administrative penalties as a deterrent for non-compliance, and other recommendations for improving workplace safety and health in the province.

Written submissions must be received by the Province by October 15, 2012. :
