MGEU Launches “Keep Us Together” Public Awareness Campaign

November 18, 2015

The Manitoba Government and General Employees Union launched its “Keep Us Together” public awareness campaign on Monday November 16th to spark a conversation about the importance of quality public services.

The campaign is designed to provide MGEU members and the general public an opportunity to share their stories.

The “Keep Us Together” campaign builds on the hugely successful “Elephant Talk” campaign and the conversations it started in order to address the threats to the public services.

The campaign combines province wide radio advertising and the website keepustogether.ca, featuring audio clips and quotes from front-line workers.  The material focuses on the services these workers provide and the people who rely on them.

The website is inter-active, giving users the opportunity to add their voices and stories to the campaign.
