CBC Manitoba reports:

Nearly 500 Motor Coach Industries employees in Winnipeg have rejected a contract offer made by the company and voted Saturday in favour of a strike.

They have another meeting with management Wednesday to try to reach an agreement.

The last time Motor Coach workers went on strike was in 1986.
