Your MFL

The Manitoba Federation of Labour is the strong, united voice of Manitoba’s labour movement

Unions affiliated with the MFL together represent more than 125,000 working Manitobans in the public and private sectors, as well as the building trades, including: manufacturing, government offices, retail stores, hospitals, schools, natural resources, tourism, agriculture and many others. A strong MFL is more important now than ever before.
Why unions matter

Meet our amazing team

Kevin Rebeck

President

Kevin has been active in the labour movement for over 30 years. He was re-elected President of the Manitoba Federation of Labour for a fifth term in 2022.

With Kevin as president, the MFL has successfully advocated for a number of progressive changes to Manitoba’s laws and policies, in solidarity with the Manitoba’s labour movement and working people throughout the province. These changes include improvements to workplace injury prevention programs, better WCB coverage, a higher minimum wage, and making Manitoba the first province to provide paid leave for victims of domestic violence.
